Wendron Football Club is at the heart of the community it serves; it has youth teams from under-9s upwards, six adult teams playing in a variety of local leagues and provides facilities for at least six other teams during the season and its companion Wendron Cricket Club during the summer. When, in early 2006, the club was awarded grant funding to construct new changing rooms and greatly improve the existing clubhouse it chose Cathedral to undertake the works. The resulting clubhouse and facilities are undoubtedly the envy of Cornish football (and cricket) and have done much to contribute to the ongoing success of the clubs.
Similarly when the South West Lakes Trust needed a new watersports and angling centre at their Stithians Lake site it was Cathedral Builders they turned to with the brief. The lake now has a building that sits wonderfully within the landscape complementing the beautiful setting and performs perfectly as a busy and functional public building.
The Youth Hostel Association and The Caravan and Camping Club are just a couple of other major recreation sector bodies who continue to use Cathedral to update and upgrade their facilities in the South West knowing that our commitment to quality will delivery top class buildings and facilities that their members can be proud of.
