We work closely with Construction Skills, the sector skills council that provides initial and ongoing training and assessment for staff working in the construction industry. Our dedication to training starts with our apprenticeship program for new industry entrants and continues throughout each employee's lifetime with accreditation by the Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS). The CSCS is the evidence based government approved scheme that enables us to demonstrate the quality of our workforce - much of the training and assessment is carried out in working conditions on site - the paper certification is backed by real, practical knowledge and skills.
We are also engaged, with the support of Construction Skills, in the Investors in People (IIP) scheme - this is a further commitment to quality that extends beyond the technical skills and is impacting positively across our whole business.
